Happy Kids Pediatric Housecalls, PLLC
Welcome to My Practice
I have three young kids, which inspired me to create Happy Kids Pediatric Housecalls. My children usually get sick late Friday evening or during the weekend. Taking sick children to the emergency room or urgent care is a burden, especially when you have to drag the healthy children along. As a nurse practitioner and a mom, my goal is to keep children out of the emergency room and provide care after hours for simple illnesses in the home.
It’s a privilege to serve Raeford, NC and Fayetteville, NC by providing quality medical attention through sound medical advice, responsible diagnoses, and appropriate prescriptions.

The Answers You’ve Been Looking For
Will my insurance cover my visit?
No. Insurances are not accepted at this time, however Happy Kids is considering generating a super bill for patients in the future that may allow you to submit the visit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
Do you offer financing options?
No. Financing is not available at this time.
Can I get a same-day appointment?
Yes. Same-day appointments are available.
What can I expect?
The Nurse Practitioner will arrive to your home with her medical bag, take your child's vital signs, and conduct a visit similar to being in a clinic. Prescriptions will be sent to the pharmacy through an electronic health record.
Can I also get medicine for other family members?
Yes. Since the nurse practitioner and her collaborative physician are board certified in family medicine, she may be able to care for other family members depending on the illness. Legally and ethically, the nurse practitioner cannot simply write a script. An entire office visit must be conducted and documented.
Can my child get ADHD medicine?
No. For the safety of the child, ADHD medications should only be managed by one provider. Also, the nurse practitioner will not have the ability to write for any controlled substances in the home setting.
Will you make a "housecall" at my child's school?
I believe in working with parents and schools to reduce missed number of days from school. In order to do that, I am still evaluating the logistics of seeing a child in the school setting. I hope to make this a possibility soon.
Can I schedule a telemedicine visit for my child's ear pain?
No, in order to accurately and safely manage ear pain, the nurse practitioner must look in your child's ears.
If you are experiencing a life threatening emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
